Job summary

The Financial Analyst - Intermediate is responsible for supporting commercial expenses including monthly financial close/accruals, forecasting, and reporting. The role assists with routine and ad hoc financial information requests and ensures timely completion. It also supports accurate review of actual results and compliance with internal controls and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts and budgets.
• Manage quarterly headcount and payroll forecast process with departmental leaders, Human Resources, and Financial Planning & Analysis employees.
• Support commercial expenses by reviewing and reporting actual results during the monthly financial close.
• Approve PO coding and maintain commitment logs for accrual entries.
• Participate in monthly review of actual results and provide analysis versus forecast, budget, and prior year to internal customers.
• Provide accurate and timely responses to internal auditor requests.
• Assist with ad hoc projects or financial information requests.
• Provide business support and advice with financial accountability and controls.
• Train non-financial business partners on financial terminology and concepts.
• Load, reconcile, and prepare supporting documentation for monthly and quarterly forecast updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with GAAP, financial planning, accounting, and financial systems.
• Experience with SAP and OneStream/Hyperion preferred.
• Strong accounting, analytical, and financial skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret data and provide sound business recommendations.
• Ability to multi-task and work virtually.
