Location: Lancaster, TX Division: Road US Summary The Senior Logistics Coordinator, Load Planning is responsible for supporting the efficient planning and execution of customer freight within DSV Road's brokerage operations. This position manages order entry and load planning activities, translating customer orders and shipment requirements into executable transportation plans while maximizing equipment utilization, service performance, and operational efficiency. The Senior Logistics Coordinator works closely with brokerage operations, carrier-facing teams, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate freight movement, identify planning constraints, and make timely adjustments based on changing operational needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound independent judgment, and the ability to balance customer requirements, capacity, cost, and operational considerations in a fast-paced transportation environment. Physical Demands This role is primarily performed in an office environment and requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk and using a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment. The employee must be able to use their hands frequently for typing, writing, and operating office equipment, along with close visual acuity for reading reports, screens, and documentation. Clear verbal and written communication is essential, including extended periods of time on the phone with customers, carriers, and team members. The role may occasionally require bending, reaching, or lifting office materials or supplies up to 15-20 lbs. Work Environment The position is performed in a professional office environment and requires frequent use of computers, transportation management systems, telephones, and other standard office equipment. The role operates in a fast-paced transportation environment where priorities, customer requirements, and shipment needs may change throughout the day. For this position, the expected base pay range is $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
