Supports student and parent service functions to new and continuing students in the areas of admissions, dual enrollment, career and technical education, and other enrollment support services primarily by telephone or at high schools. This position guides students and parents regarding the various student services functions including, applying, admitting and enrolling students, performing general office duties in person, by telephone, or online communication methods. Supports staff to promote Dual Enrollment Career and Technical Education Courses with partners. Present and attend a variety of forums. Academics/Curriculum Nights, Parent Nights, Individual Classrooms, etc. Track and help manage CTE enrollment and student progress towards certificates. Demonstrates a commitment to service excellence, student success, and integrity in the performance of job duties. Essential Functions
75% - Carries out high-touch outreach and recruitment activities with prospective and current student to increase enrollment and retention including admissions and registration of students for dual enrollment. Minimum Qualifications
A. One (1) or more years working in secondary or higher education Desired Qualifications
A. Experience using a student information system to complete processes Special Working Conditions
May be required to travel or be assigned to MCCCD locations. May require evenings or weekends. May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen.
