Job Posting Title MetallurgistJob Description Summary The Met-Lab Metallurgist is responsible for conducting a variety of metallurgical and mechanical tests in accordance with prescribed methods to determine the properties of metals, e.g. tensile, compressive, impact, creep, stress, rupture, ductility, grain structure, hardness or internal flaws, largely for control or test purposes. In addition, the Met-Lab Metallurgists are responsible for testing and development of part properties in accordance with prescribed tests, the performance of failure analysis and troubleshooting of processes. The Met-Lab Metallurgist is responsible for leading and supporting various initiatives, including enhancements to laboratories and production processes.Job Description:
Required Skills and Education This position requires hands-on experience with metallurgical laboratory equipment, including the ability to operate, adjust, and modify tools to ensure optimal performance and accurate test results.
