nfor is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced IT Procurement Specialist dedicated to the procurement of software, hardware, and IT-related solutions for internal business needs to join our team. The IT Procurement Specialist will be responsible for supplier and contract management, stakeholder support, assisting with the management of the software asset management life cycle and strategic development of the IT Procurement function at Infor, while seeking cost-effective and value-add solutions for all software and hardware related purchases.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders across all business functions - including IT, Finance, HR, Operations, Marketing and Facilities to understand and support their software and hardware requirements, providing insights and recommendations that support the organisation's growth
  • Lead the process of identifying and evaluating potential IT vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing structures, and managing supplier relationships to secure the most cost-effective and value-add solutions
  • Oversee hardware procurement and lifecycle management for all departments, ensuring compatibility, warranty coverage, and compliance.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, driving continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with internal IT stakeholders whilst considering the requirements of finance, compliance and operational teams, ensuring alignment with Infor's procurement objectives and technology initiatives.
  • Focus on alleviating contractual burdens by acting as the primary liaison for contracting and supplier relationship management, ensuring that commercial and compliance perspectives are integrated into supplier interactions.
  • Drive vendor consolidation to enhance efficiency and compliance in alignment with the VMO vision.
  • Utilize data analysis and reporting to monitor spend, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience in Procurement with a demonstrated interest or passion for IT
  • International sourcing experience
  • Experience accounting and finance processes
  • Experience with contract negotiations and reviews
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient use of Excel
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, SQL and/or Q&A tools
