Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst I supports manufacturing and supply chain planning activities through data analysis, capacity planning, forecasting, and operational reporting. This role works closely with Planning, Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Sales to analyze demand, evaluate production capacity, identify constraints, and support workload balancing across facilities. The position provides data-driven recommendations that improve operational performance, optimize resource utilization, and support customer requirements while maintaining accurate planning and reporting systems.

Essential Functions:

Supply Chain & Capacity Analysis



  • Analyze production demand, capacity, inventory, and operational data to identify trends, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.


  • Support capacity planning activities by evaluating equipment utilization, labor requirements, and workcenter performance


  • Monitor production workloads and assist with balancing work across facilities to improve throughput and resource utilization


  • Assist in identifying capacity risks and provide recommendations to support customer demand and delivery requirements


Forecasting & Operational Planning



  • Support demand forecasting and planning activities through data analysis and performance monitoring.


  • Evaluate historical trends, production performance, and business requirements to support operational decision making.


  • Assist with new equipment launches, workload transfers, and production transitions by providing analytical support and capacity assessments.


Reporting & Business Intelligence



  • Develop, maintain, and improve reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics used to monitor supply chain and manufacturing performance.


  • Maintain customer-facing capacity reporting and support internal performance reporting initiatives.


  • Ensure planning, production, and reporting data is accurate and consistent across business systems.


  • Utilize ERP, reporting, and business intelligence tools to support data-driven decision making.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement



  • Partner with Planning, Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Sales to support supply chain and operational initiatives.


  • Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, production flow, and data quality.


  • Support process documentation, reporting enhancements, and business system improvements.


  • Perform additional analysis and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field and 0-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, engineering, or business analytics.

Experience and Skills Required:



  • Understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, production planning, or operations management principles.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.


  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, ERP, or MRP systems is preferred.


  • Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and manage competing priorities.


  • Ability to present findings and recommendations in a clear and professional manner.

Compensation Salary Range: OTC10 $66,066 - $99,129 annually. The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
