Location(s): Austin, TX

Job Description
Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs. Testing and evaluating new programs. Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.

Additional Job Details and Special Considerations

• Designs, codes and modifies complex computer programs, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes and scripts using Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database.
• Performs necessary testing of assigned programs, including the generation of test data, writing test scripts/execution sequences, examining test results, debugging detected errors, etc.
• Uses current software development methods/techniques and established development standards, including programming, documentation, and testing standards, to ensure the quality and maintainability of applications.
• Participates in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements.

Level Description
4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in computer programming, analysis and development of complex business processes and system solutions.
• 7 years of experience in coding, testing, and debugging programs that are in development and/or requiring support for issue resolution, performance, or enhancement.
• 7 years of experience processing information logically; designing programs and systems logic; and preparing program specifications.
• 7 years of highly developed oral and written communication skills.
• 7 years of high-level interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output.
• 7 years of knowledge and understanding of Information Technology industry trends, directions, and market experience, with the ability to relate them to the organization.
• 7 years of knowledge of architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information, applications, organizational structure, etc.
• 7 years of knowledge of emerging technologies, including those new to company systems and those new to the information systems industry.
• 7 years of knowledge of tools, techniques, and good practices for protecting the integrity of corporate data and associated processing, technology practices, standards, and procedures.
• 7 years of knowledge of solution delivery utilizing Agile or Scrum methodology.

Preferred Requirements:

• 2 years of familiarity with the organization's information architecture and information management methodologies.
• 2 years of familiarity with existing and planned software technology and global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components.
