Job Functions:
*Performs skilled programming, corrective and preventative maintenance on all ASUS' SCADA system computers including servers, radio communication systems, modems, networking and other telemetry and control systems
*Troubleshoots routine network and telecommunications hardware and devices including servers, routers and switches; resolves, or refers to higher level staff
*Provides technical support in developing SCADA screens for the purpose of monitoring operational processes and field equipment; makes routine software changes; works with analysts and operators to test system performance
*Maintains licenses for all software used in PLC programming; maintains technical library materials
*Programs, maintains, and upgrades process controls from PLC ladder logic to field equipment for water/wastewater utilities within ASUS systems; installs, calibrates, and troubleshoots control system components and related instrumentation
*Installs, configures, and troubleshoots data communications equipment for critical SCADA, RF and plant PLC networks; assists in installing multi-platform interfaces
*Installs, services, and conducts preventive maintenance on remote communications facilities and telecommunications systems including, two-way radio, spread spectrum, microwave wireless, voice, data and SCADA systems; sets up and manipulates alarm and alarm paging programs as needed
*Assists in the development and installation of new programs for system upgrades and/or expansion
*Implements mitigation/countermeasure strategies and other cybersecurity improvements
*Implements the most applicable standards and guidelines from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and American Water Works Association (AWWA) related to cybersecurity for Industrial Control Systems (ICS), including the following internationally recognized agencies:
oNIST 800-53 - Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information System and Organizations
oNIST 800-82 - Guide to Industrial Control System (ICS) Security
oISO/IEC 27001-27005 - Information Security Management System (ISMS)
*Develops and implements policy and guidance for SCADA and cybersecurity
*Communicates with Leadership relating to critical incidents and strategic cybersecurity requirements
*Programs and generates a variety of reports on system operations for end users.
*Manages completion of SCADA network projects; including implementing network equipment, servers, workstations, and applications
*Implements software patches, and hot fixes in the direction of cybersecurity
*Implements security patches, including firmware, operating systems, and software patches and "hotfixes" all operating systems and applications with the latest security updates
*Develops and implements USB security on end-points SCADA computers
*Implements end-point protection on SCADA systems
*Observes and complies with all local and mandated safety rules, regulations, and protocols
*Maintains an updated inventory of all SCADA hardware and software
*Conducts training for SCADA users
*Responds to emergency situations as necessary, including after hours
*Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
*Associates Degree in engineering, computer science, technology or Cybersecurity or a closely related field required. Bachelor's Degree preferred
*Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Information Technology
*1 to 3 years of prior SCADA experience required
*Certifications preferred: MCSE, CCNA, VCP, CWNA
*Proficient in cyber security best practices
*Knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server Operating System and Virtual Machine software
*Knowledge of Local Area Network and Cisco product

*Knowledge of PC computer network support and maintenance
*Knowledge of Data Backup and Recovery
*Knowledge of System Alert and Monitoring software
*Able to work independently with Products Technical Support with minimal supervision
*Strong attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate
*Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
*Ability to learn new skills to keep current with technology changes
*Ability to Install and maintain software and hardware
*Able to prioritize workload and coordinate time schedules
*Ability to travel between system locations required

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

The compensation range provided is in compliance with state specific laws. Multiple factors are used to determine the actual starting rate of pay for all of our positions, including specific skills, years of experience, education, certification(s), and other job related factors.

U.S. Citizenship is required pursuant to our contract with the federal government.
