The Electrical/I&C Engineering Intern position offers exciting opportunities in Power Generation and Renewables which may include cross training in other business groups, thus providing additional broad experiences in the electrical engineering field. The selected candidate will be a current Electrical / I&C Power and Renewables Engineering student or recent graduate with little to no power experience required. Interns will perform tasks with varying levels of complexity, which are assigned by a Project Engineer, Project Leader, or Project Manager. Tasks will include being able to follow direction, assisting engineers in preparing design packages, performing simple calculations, attending internal meetings and participating in field reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
- Courses in Power/Energy and Renewables is a plus.
- Having passed or starting to prepare for FE Exam is a plus but not a requirement
- Preference given to those with a previous internship or course work in power and energy with a 3.0 GPA
- Experience with computer-aided design programs (AutoCAD, Microstation, ETAP, SKM, etc.) is desired but not required for consideration.

- Attention to detail
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
