As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent across multiple markets throughout the Midwest region. Based in our Denver, Colorado office, this role serves as a key recruiting partner supporting operations and hiring leaders across Colorado, Minnesota, North Dakota, and other assigned markets.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting role responsible for managing a substantial requisition load and building strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs. You will partner closely with Operations and Human Resources leaders to identify staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from application through onboarding.

Schedule & Work Environment

This position is based in Denver, Colorado and requires regular in-office attendance. This is a 100% onsite position and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

While located in Denver, the Talent Acquisition Specialist supports recruiting efforts across multiple Midwest markets, partnering closely with operational leaders and HR teams in Colorado, Minnesota, North Dakota, and other assigned locations.

The role requires frequent interaction with candidates, hiring managers, community organizations, and business leaders through phone, video, and in-person communication. Occasional travel may be required to support hiring events, career fairs, workforce development initiatives, and operational needs.

Standard business hours generally apply; however, flexibility may occasionally be required to support recruiting events and business needs.

The Spirit of the Position

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you serve as a brand ambassador for LAZ Parking and are often the first impression candidates have of our organization. You play a critical role in building talent pipelines, supporting operational growth, and creating a positive candidate experience from first contact through hire.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, organization, persistence, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with candidates, operational leaders, and HR teams. Through your recruiting expertise and commitment to service, you help ensure LAZ continues to attract and retain exceptional talent.

What You'll Do

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned markets and business functions.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Source active and passive candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Post and manage job advertisements across multiple recruiting channels.
• Attend career fairs, hiring events, and recruiting initiatives to attract qualified candidates.
• Conduct candidate screenings and coordinate interviews with operational leaders.
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
• Accurately manage and maintain job requisitions within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Sourcing & Workforce Planning

• Research labor markets and identify sourcing strategies to support business growth.
• Proactively identify and engage passive candidates.
• Partner with Operations leaders to understand workforce needs and staffing objectives.
• Develop recruiting strategies aligned with hiring goals and budget expectations.
• Build relationships with community organizations, workforce centers, educational institutions, and referral sources.

Operational Partnership

• Collaborate closely with Operations and Human Resources teams to ensure timely and effective hiring decisions.
• Support hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process.
• Assist with onboarding coordination to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Provide guidance on recruiting best practices and market conditions.
• Support employment branding and candidate engagement initiatives.

Reporting & Administration

• Maintain recruiting dashboards, reports, and hiring metrics.
• Track key performance indicators including open positions, candidate pipeline activity, and hiring outcomes.
• Ensure recruiting documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
• Monitor and manage recruitment activity across assigned markets.
• Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or administrative experience.
• Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience recruiting in hospitality, transportation, parking, retail, logistics, or other service-based industries.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations.
• Experience conducting sourcing and passive candidate outreach.
• SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential, AIRS certification, or related recruiting certification.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Occasionally stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and lift up to 10 pounds.
• Attend recruiting events and job fairs as business needs require.
• Work outdoors periodically during recruiting events in varying weather conditions.
• Communicate effectively in person, by phone, video conference, and email.
