Production Manager

Position Summary:

Responsible for managing and coordinating operations associated with the manufacture of wood components and frame assemblies ensuring quality products are produced that meet specifications and are delivered on a timely basis to the next operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures proper staffing levels are available to meet production requirements and that employees are properly trained for the job they are assigned.
• Mentors Production Lead People to address employee issues with safety, quality, productivity and attendance problems per company policy.
• Ensures that manufacturing equipment is properly maintained to prevent lengthy and costly equipment breakdowns.
• Create a culture of safety by enforcing rules/ policies regarding the use of proper personal protective equipment ( PPE) safe wood dust management health and safety standards.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience.
• Requires in-depth knowledge of work performed in order to operate more complex machinery and provide guidance or supervision of others (team leaders or 1^st line supervisors).
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook,etc.
