Job Title: Technicians
Location: North Phoenix, AZ
Employment Type: Temp to Hire
Industry: Semiconductor
Schedule:
Open availability is required during the initial training period.
  • Training: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Training Length: Approximately 4 weeks to 1-3 months, depending on assignment
  • After Training: Transition to a compressed 12-hour production schedule
    • Day Shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM
    • Night Shift: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
  • Production schedules typically consist of 3-4 days per week on rotating 12-hour shifts
  • Overtime may be required based on production needs
About the Opportunity:
Acara Solutions is hiring Technicians to support advanced semiconductor manufacturing operations in North Phoenix. These hands-on opportunities are ideal for individuals who enjoy working with technology, equipment, automated systems, and detailed processes in a fast-paced production environment.
Depending on the assignment, Technicians may support production operations, equipment maintenance, automated material handling systems (AMHS), process monitoring, troubleshooting, material flow, or manufacturing activities.
This is an excellent opportunity to build technical experience in the semiconductor industry while working with advanced manufacturing equipment and systems.
No traditional interview may be required for certain assignments. Candidates may complete an online assessment as part of the streamlined hiring process.

What You'll Do:
Depending on your assignment, responsibilities may include:
  • Monitor and operate automated manufacturing and production systems
  • Support wafer and material flow through production systems
  • Perform equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot alarms, error messages, and abnormal equipment or process conditions
  • Support installation, testing, and monitoring of automated equipment and AMHS
  • Analyze equipment and production data to identify abnormalities and support quality
  • Document production activity, equipment conditions, and troubleshooting actions
  • Use computer systems and Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking
  • Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and cleanroom protocols
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve equipment and production issues
  • Support continuous improvement and overall production efficiency
Cleanroom Environment
Technicians will work in a controlled semiconductor manufacturing environment and may spend extended periods in a cleanroom or Manufacturing Command Center (MCC).
The role may require wearing full cleanroom PPE, including:
  • Coveralls
  • Hood
  • Gloves
  • Boots
  • Mask
  • Safety glasses/eye protection
Some assignments may require working in a highly active cleanroom environment for extended 12-hour shifts.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Fundamental Microsoft Excel skills, including data entry and tracking
  • Typing speed of approximately 35+ WPM
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal procedures
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn new technical processes and equipment
  • Ability to work a compressed 12-hour schedule, including day or night shifts
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required PPE
  • Ability to remain on your feet and walk for extended periods
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Work in confined spaces when required
  • Perform hands-on equipment and material handling activities
