About Us:

Life Tree Pharmacy is dedicated to providing accurate, timely, and compassionate pharmacy care with the personal attention of a family pharmacy. Our team delivers customized pharmacy solutions to a wide range of healthcare settings, including psychiatric hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, group homes, assisted living communities, and youth behavioral health programs.

Schedule:20-30 hours per week on a temp basis with the possibility of going perm.

Program hours of operation: M - F 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Rate: $60 - 80 per hour based on experience

About the position:

• Directly supervisesemployees in the pharmacy in accordance with the organization's policies.
• Follows all applicable state and federal laws including state board of Pharmacy, DEA, USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800.
• Knowledgeable with specialty pharmacy rules and regulations including URAC and ASHC Accreditations.
• Active involvement in necessary clinical and strategic meetings with clinic professionals working towards improving patient care and compliance.
• Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
• Dispense medications and counsel patients on proper usage, side effects, and storage.
• Monitor patient medication therapies for interactions, contraindications, and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient profiles.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will meet or exceed the following:

• Current Pharmacist License (Must be in good standing).
• Pharm D. and two to four years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Framework LTC and Framework ECM experience preferred
• 1 yr of experience in LTC pharmacy preferred
