Are you a meticulous wordsmith with a passion for brand integrity? Aquent Studios is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled professional to join our client's Brand Review Team. This is an unparalleled opportunity to become a critical guardian of brand voice, ensuring consistency and excellence across high-volume product launches that reach a global audience. You will be at the forefront of every campaign, asset, and name before it reaches the market, directly impacting the voice and integrity of a beloved brand. Your expertise will be crucial in streamlining the review process, eliminating bottlenecks, and empowering launch teams to deliver compelling and compliant messaging at speed. This pivotal role closes a crucial gap in current review coverage, focusing specifically on the nuanced art of copy. You will collaborate closely with launch teams and agencies, providing essential feedback that ensures every piece of communication aligns perfectly with established brand guidelines, directly contributing to the seamless execution of product launches and the consistent presentation of the brand to millions.

What You'll Do

  • Review copy, tone, terminology, and naming for high-priority launch campaigns, ensuring strict adherence to established brand guidelines.
  • Provide direct, actionable, and in-artifact feedback within live collaborative tools such as Google Docs, Figma, and Frame.io, empowering launch teams and agencies to implement changes efficiently.
  • Categorize every review comment by severity, clearly distinguishing between blocking issues (must be resolved before launch) and advisory suggestions (to be addressed where time permits), to facilitate effective triage under tight deadlines.
  • Document written feedback and outcome summaries in the designated tracking system, ensuring comprehensive record-keeping before closing each case.
  • Operate effectively within a defined sprint cadence, actively utilizing team communication tools and the automated launch tracker to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Escalate unresolved blocking issues to appropriate internal teams in a timely manner, especially as launch dates approach, to mitigate risks.

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years of dedicated copyediting experience, with a strong emphasis on large-scale brand and marketing copy.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide fast, clear, and severity-tagged feedback with exceptional comfort under significant deadline pressure.
  • Proficiency in working within live collaborative tools such as Google Docs, Figma, and Frame.io, showcasing an ability to move beyond static file review.
  • A proven capacity to thrive within a defined sprint cadence and diligently adhere to established escalation processes.
  • Exceptional judgment to accurately differentiate between critical, brand-compliance blocking issues and advisory polish suggestions, ensuring strategic prioritization.

Scope of the Role: What You Won't Be Doing

To ensure clarity and focus, this role does not involve:

  • Creating or producing campaign assets.
  • Evaluating naming for trademark or legal clearance.
  • Owning brand strategy, architecture, or authoring brand guidelines.
  • Handling case coordination, intake, tiering, or tracker upkeep.
