Manager Inpatient Behavioral Health Services

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Manager of Behavioral Health Services to join the team. This is a Full-Time, day shift position supporting our Inpatient Behavioral Health departments.

The Manager of the Behavioral Health Services ensures compliance with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, Comprehensive Services Act contract requirements and The Joint Commission standards as they apply to hospital based programs and/or outpatient services. Establishes and maintains a therapeutic and prosocial treatment environment. Provides direct and indirect clinical supervision to counselors to enhance their individual counseling skills and the quality of services to patients. Handles team member relations and staff development for direct reports and develops goals and manages fiscal activities of the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification - Basic Life Support - upon start
• Licensure - Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or licensed Psychologist upon start
• Experience - 5 Five years of experience post Master's degree in counseling and therapy with children, adolescents, adults and families
• Education - Masters Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with high acuity, community health or hospitalization
