Short Term Faculty Members - Creative Writing

The Creative Writing Department is seeing multiple adjunct professors to teach the following courses:

• Short-term faculty member in Fiction, Fall 2026 - 3-4 weeks, teaching one, one-credit seminar (CW:7830 - Problems in Modern Fiction)
• Short-term faculty member in Poetry, Spring 2027 -3-4 weeks, teaching one, one-credit seminar (CW:7835 - Problems in Modern Poetry)
• Semester-long Visiting Professorship, Poetry - Spring 2027 - will teach one workshop, and one seminar, for three credit hours each (CW:7835 - Problems in Modern Poetry and CW:7875 - Poetry Workshop)
• Semester-long Visiting Professorship, Fiction - Spring 2027 - will teach one, three-credit seminar (CW:7830 - Problems in Modern Fiction)

Required Qualifications:

• A significant body of publication, including at least one book.
• An established record of excellence in teaching, especially with graduate students.
• A willingness to participate in the vibrant life of a large MFA program.
