Pharmacy Technician I - Varied - Part Time - Hillcrest

This is a part-time, benefit eligible position for varied shifts located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego.

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the technician supports safe, accurate, and timely medication distribution throughout the hospital. Assists with preparing, packaging, and delivering medications; managing inventory in automated dispensing cabinets and central pharmacy; and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant medication-use environment. The technician plays a key role in ensuring efficient pharmacy operations and support high-quality patient care.

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
  Required Certification/Registration:
• California Board of Pharmacy Certification
  
  Preferred Education/Course(s)/Training:
• 1 year inpatient experience preferred or hospital externship
