ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Project

Job Description

The University of Missouri is embarking on a multi-year transformation to implement a new cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, replacing its current PeopleSoft HCM and Finance platforms. We are seeking a highly skilled Core HR ERP Lead to play a critical role in this strategic initiative and provide ongoing system expertise post-implementation.

The Core HR ERP Lead will serve as both a strategic and operational leader within the project team. This role will drive the configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Core HR module within the new ERP environment. Working closely with cross-functional partners and external implementation consultants, this position ensures accurate, compliant, and efficient operations while enhancing employee experience.

Responsibilities include:
Oversee end-to-end delivery of new ERP system implementation for Core HR functionality, including discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-launch support. Manages team of analysts, SME's and consultants to ensure goals and milestones are met on time.

* Serve as the Cloud ERP expert for the Core HR area, aligning system design with business processes and goals.
* Partner closely with HR leaders at campus and MU Health Care to understand business needs and translate into ERP specifications and requirements. Champion organizational change by promoting adoption of new processes, tools, and policies.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance accuracy. Identify and implement innovative solutions leveraging HR/ERP technologies, automation, and analytics.
* Partner with technical leads to ensure integration design, data quality and security are aligned to business needs and best practices. Manages the validation of conversion data to the new system.
* Lead initiatives to document business processes, functional specs, test cases, and user guides
* Monitor legislative changes that may impact HR processes and compliance. Evaluate and adapt processes in response to evolving regulatory, system, and organizational needs
* Troubleshoot issues and provide clearly documented solutions
* Assist with creation and maintenance of HR reporting and dashboards

Shift

40 hours per week 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday thru Friday.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, and five years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the Higher Education and Healthcare industries
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 per year

Grade: GGS 012
