We are seeking a visionary designer to spearhead the conceptualization and flawless execution of in-store displays across diverse retail environments. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in translating brand narratives into premium, cohesive visual experiences, continuously elevating our in-store presence. Your expertise in spatial design and collaborative spirit will drive innovation, making a tangible impact on how our brands connect with customers and stand out in a competitive market.

Responsibilities



  • Lead the end-to-end design execution for all visual merchandising requests, successfully managing projects through every phase from concept to implementation.
  • Drive the creative execution of large-scale campaigns and custom special projects, ensuring alignment with strategic brand goals.
  • Actively participate in creative meetings, pitching innovative concepts and providing regular, transparent project status updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop, manage, and oversee comprehensive merchandising guidelines that maintain brand consistency and elevate visual standards.
  • Design and render sophisticated 3D concepts for retail displays and permanent in-store fixtures, bringing ideas to life with precision.
  • Collaborate closely with Art Directors to seamlessly integrate graphic design elements into visual merchandising displays, creating a cohesive aesthetic.
  • Engage in creative kick-offs, briefings, and development sessions to align on strategic goals and foster innovation for new product launches.
  • Thoughtfully factor material selection, budget constraints, and production timelines into all project designs, ensuring feasibility and efficiency.
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends in retail design, visual arts, and merchandise presentation, continuously bringing fresh perspectives to the team.


Must-Have Qualifications



  • 5+ years of professional experience in visual merchandising, store planning, industrial design, or a related creative field.
  • Proven track record of transforming brand narratives into striking, disruptive retail displays that capture attention and differentiate in a competitive market.
  • Hands-on design capabilities coupled with the ability to guide and execute both 2D and 3D initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a self-starting approach to managing deadlines autonomously and taking action with minimal prompting.
  • Refined aesthetic sensibility and elevated design taste.
  • Highly detail-oriented, an agile learner with a knack for creative problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships across various departments and external partners.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong skills in SketchUp, 3D CAD modeling, and rendering on macOS platforms.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications



  • Experience designing for specialty multi-channel retailers (e.g., Sephora, Ulta) or salon environments.
  • Background in the beauty or fashion industry.
  • Proactive, positive mindset with the agility to pivot alongside shifting priorities and evolving needs in a high-speed environment.
