A proven storyteller, the ideal candidate has a passion for design and views communications as a people-centered activity.

You will be responsible for media outreach and identifying engaging stories to a wide range of reporters; speaking engagements; thought leadership; and special projects. You will also collaborate closely with the NE Communications & Content Manager on awards programs and social media.

Gensler is organized along four sectors - Workplace, Hospitality, Cities, and Healthcare - and the NY PR Specialist will be responsible for executing practice area-specific external communications in coordination with other PR Specialists in the New York office and across the firm. The PR Specialist will work with office leaders, studio directors, and practice area leaders to identify stories, secure opportunities, and develop proactive campaigns across various platforms in support of strategic objectives. This role will also collaborate closely with the regional and global PR network, and New York marketing colleagues.
