The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and distribution operations, including picking, packing, labeling, inspecting, shipping, and receiving products. This position ensures orders are prepared accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality, safety, and customer requirements.

Job Duties

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected.
• Measure, weigh, count, and verify products and materials.
• Pack orders for shipment using parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Print and apply appropriate shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets.
• Record product, packaging, and order information accurately on required forms and systems.
• Mark and label shipping boxes and products according to applicable DOT, IATA, and IMDG requirements.
• Examine containers, materials, and products to ensure packing and quality specifications are met.
• Complete and document required quality inspections according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage.
• Report missing products, inventory discrepancies, damaged items, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or order pickers when required and properly trained/authorized.
• Maintain a clean, safe, neat, and organized work area.
• Help maintain an inspection-ready facility in accordance with SQFI, FDA, and customer requirements.
• Immediately communicate and report safety incidents or operational concerns.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Complete additional warehouse duties and assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• At least one year of warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to safely work in a warehouse/distribution environment.
