Location:Lithia Springs, GA
Schedule/Shift: Full-time; overtime as needed
Pay: $21-$25 per hour

Job Summary
The Class B CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate will operate a 26-foot automatic box truck to deliver materials such as pipe, fittings, water heaters, and HVAC equipment. Approximately 80% of the role involves driving, with the remaining 20% supporting warehouse activities such as order picking and loading and unloading trucks. The position requires Class B CDL experience, sit-down forklift experience, safe material handling practices, and a strong commitment to customer service and DOT compliance.

Job Responsibilities



  • Deliver materials to customers according to scheduled delivery times.
  • Operate a 26-foot automatic box truck safely and efficiently.
  • Secure materials properly and ensure loads remain within applicable weight limits.
  • Validate delivery directions and follow established delivery routes and procedures.
  • Load and unload materials, including pipe, fittings, water heaters, HVAC equipment, and related products.
  • Assist with unloading materials at customer locations as needed.
  • Obtain customer signatures and ensure delivery tickets are completed accurately.
  • Verify delivered materials against orders and report discrepancies as needed.
  • Pick up customer returns and verify products against return documentation.
  • Pick up local customer orders and purchase orders as assigned.
  • Maintain and return packing lists and delivery documentation.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Comply with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and safety regulations.
  • Fuel the vehicle as needed and report vehicle defects, accidents, moving violations, or other issues to management.
  • Assist with warehouse activities, including order picking and material handling.
  • Operate a sit-down forklift as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding deliveries, delays, vehicle issues, and other concerns.
  • Provide professional customer service during deliveries and customer interactions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Work overtime as needed.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum 1 year of experience driving the class of commercial vehicle assigned to the position.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience holding a CDL.
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License required.
  • Valid state-issued non-excepted interstate self-certification designation required.
  • Sit-down forklift experience required.
  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Experience with box truck delivery and material handling preferred.
  • Ability to safely load, unload, secure, and transport materials.
  • Ability to perform required DOT vehicle inspections and comply with applicable regulations.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both driving and warehouse environments.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
