Job Description
Quality Engineer
Mativ is a global leader in specialty materials headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Company offers a wide range of critical components and engineered solutions that connect, protect, and purify our world. Our Quality Engineer supports Mativ's Sustainability & Adhesives Solutions (SAS) Function. This individual will help to support the Quality Management System, applies quality engineering principles to address product and process issues; ensures successful new and/or changed products/processes during design transfer to manufacturing. Develops an understanding of complaint investigations and root cause analysis for effective corrective/preventive actions. Works on a wide range of quality problems related to Quality Engineering, Quality Systems, Product & Process Quality, and Supplier Management. Provides guidance / support to the department QC and QA inspectors to facilitate QMS and / or quality issues. The location of this role is in Windsor, CT and reports to the Quality Manager.
