Talent Acquisition Manager- Direct Hire
Location:Monroe, LA
Industry: Electrical Construction & Skilled Trades
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Salary: $50,000-$85,000
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience will be considered.
- Professional certifications in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR are a plus.
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in talent acquisition, staffing, or human resources.
- Experience recruiting for construction, electrical contracting, industrial, manufacturing, or skilled trades environments preferred.
- Proven success sourcing and hiring electricians, apprentices, foremen, superintendents, project managers, and other skilled professionals.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruiting platforms, and social media sourcing tools.
- Strong interviewing, relationship-building, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to travel locally for job fairs, trade schools, networking events, and recruiting functions as needed.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Job Duties
- Lead full-cycle recruitment from workforce planning and sourcing through hiring and onboarding.
- Develop recruiting strategies to attract skilled trades, electrical construction personnel, and corporate professionals.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through job boards, referrals, trade schools, apprenticeship programs, social media, and industry networks.
- Partner with hiring managers and project leaders to forecast workforce needs and fill critical positions.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, offer negotiations, and hiring coordination.
- Track recruiting metrics, maintain ATS records, and improve candidate experience and hiring processes.
- Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and workforce development programs.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recruiting best practices.
