Position Description:
Lead, direct, and coordinate for overall project management and teams for multiple and complex Market Segment Group (MSG) Healthcare Medical Equipment and/or Transition & Activation projects. Take active role in business development for growth of MSG Healthcare.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic project management plans outlining objectives, timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones for coordinating and implementing Medical Equipment and/or Transition & Activation for multiple and complex Market Segment Group (MSG) Healthcare projects.
  • Oversee facilitation and/or lead coordination meetings with project stakeholders (e.g., clients, architects, general contractors) to confirm and execute project plans, activities, and schedule throughout entire project for multiple and complex MSG Healthcare projects.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of client contracts and oversee project budgets to achieve or exceed planned targeted earnings, align project resources with budget, develop solutions to mitigate risk, and keep management informed on progress.
  • Engage with existing and potential clients to secure business development opportunities to grow Healthcare market segment group. Collaborate with Business Development (BD) team to prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and participate in related activities.
  • Provide leadership for risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.
  • Foster teamwork, open communication, and collaboration within extended project management team.
  • Develop relationships with Business Units to communicate MSG Healthcare service offerings to strategize on contributions to support project needs.
  • Develop and design standard operating procedures (SOPs) to conduct project management activities, prepare deliverables, and conduct quality control reviews. Communicate SOPs with team to adopt and consistently implement across projects.
  • Provide direction and balance Healthcare project team workload, understand team capacity and employee capabilities to delegate and determine future work assignments.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to develop high-performance teams and foster environment of diversity and inclusion across project teams. Manage teams, participate in hiring process, onboarding, deliver timely performance feedback for direct reports, contribute to performance appraisals during annual performance cycle, utilize talent management systems, and identify appropriate training to help with development needs.
  • Lead teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization. Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in future projects.
  • Oversee accuracy and quality of project deliverables, closeout documentations, pay applications, and review Account Receivables.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of current and future MSG Healthcare construction and design trends, medical equipment, and hospital operations.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field of study and minimum of 10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Thorough knowledge and interpretation of project documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, project schedule, estimating, purchasing, and project implementation and installation
  • Extensive Healthcare medical equipment and transition and activation business acumen and knowledge of business operations
  • Advanced project management skills for more complex and higher volume projects
  • Diplomatic approach to problem solving, uses active listening to completely understand audience needs, and develop targeted solutions
  • Strong management and leadership to direct local and remote teams and able to engage, motivate, and develop high performing teams
  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to influence decision making and outcomes
  • Experience with project budget development and management
  • Experience building client relationships that result in opportunities to secure new work
  • Demonstrate elements of emotional intelligence including self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, and relationship management
  • Advanced presentation delivery with professional verbal and written communication skills, aptly tailors and delivers communications to various audiences
  • Active participation in professional industry organizations
  • Proficient application of continuous improvement principles and concepts
  • Regular travel required
