Position Title: Material Handler

Wage: $24.20/hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 6:20pm-6:30am

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Mukwonago, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 3rd shift.

Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Transfer of all raw materials used in the production process and resulting finished goods, as well as the cleaning, hook-up and start-up of auxiliary equipment such as blenders, grinders, and hoppers to support material and color changes

- Label and scan production boxes

- Print shop orders and labels

- Clean and maintain material system

- Clean hoppers, grinders, blenders, regrind bins, colorant bins, and material hoses for all material/color changes

- Perform color/material changes

- Responsible for the hook-up and set-up and minor preventative maintenance of auxiliary equipment

- Fill all surge and colorant bins; pull, weigh, and return colorant and material

- Complete required worksheets (i.e. machine clearance, changeover worksheet)

- Maintain accurate paperwork and work flows

- Supply raw material to machines; inventory organization and control, housekeeping, safety communication with supervisor

Material Handler Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED experience

- 1 year of factory experience preferred

- Must be able to obtain a forklift license

- Able to work effectively in a team and communicate with others

- Able to read, write, and speak English in order to communicate and understand relevant information relating to quality and production issues

- Must have good mobility and be able to routinely lift loads of 40-65 pounds from floor level to above waist

- Good hand eye coordination, excellent dexterity, and demonstrate mechanical aptitudes

- Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, twist, climb, bend, reach, grasp, perform repetitive movements, work indoors, work in temperature extremes

- Able to detect warning signals and verbal alerts to avoid injury during manufacturing process

- Must be able to discern shades of color and color differences relating to component parts used in the manufacturing process

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to answer alarms
