Job Description
- Execute complex preventive maintenance (PM) procedures across i-line, DUV, Track, and scrubber Photo Equipment in accordance with designated PM check sheets, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Perform in-depth root cause analysis on machinery issues, applying a structured methodology that spans root cause identification through solution implementation for a wide range of complex problems.
- Independently identify resources and deliver creative, effective solutions to diverse and challenging problems, driving meaningful results.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems; evaluate recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to existing PM procedures and check sheets to minimize downtime.
- Support overlay, SEM, in-line, thin film, and other metrology recovery efforts as needed.
- Participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams addressing Photo Equipment, Process, and Metrology issues.
- Collect equipment-specific performance data and partner with Engineering to develop and implement solutions for equipment failures and tool deficiencies, leveraging Pareto data analysis.
- Deliver technical, equipment-specific training to junior technicians.
- Collaborate with vendor support teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Conduct diagnostic troubleshooting and repair malfunctioning equipment down to the component level, as required.
- Exercise sound judgment in resolving problems, completing assignments, and formulating recommendations.
- Participate in, and lead or direct, ERT and Safety events in the absence of direct supervision.
- Ensure consumable parts are ordered and/or stocked, following up as needed to minimize equipment Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
- Operate with minimal management oversight while performing daily routines.

- You bring hands-on expertise in advanced electro-mechanical systems operations and maintenance, confidently working independently with minimal to no supervision.
- You have a strong grasp of basic electronic, vacuum, and pneumatic theory, along with electrical circuit principles, motor control systems, and test procedures, enabling you to troubleshoot issues down to the component level.
Job Requirements
Must Have:
- 3+ years technical maintenance experience in the semiconductor industry - specifically, with Photolithography tools set maintenance and metrology.
- Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in Electronics, or equivalent experience.
Compensation: $34/hr - $45/hr #IND100
