SkillStorm develops technology talent for Fortune 100 enterprises and U.S. government agencies. You'll start with 12 weeks of paid, hands-on training on real, team-based projects, then deploy straight to an enterprise or government client, productive from day one. We're looking for people at the start of their technical careers, including recent graduates, career changers with a technical background, and transitioning service members and veterans, who have the fundamentals, bring the drive, and want a structured route into enterprise software work.

Are you eligible? You probably are if you meet these:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or similar)
• At least 1 year of technical work experience

You'll also need a working grasp of programming fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, databases and SQL, and software development in an object-oriented language like Java or C#.

You'll stand out if you bring:

• Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
• Clear written and verbal communication with teammates and stakeholders

• Willingness to relocate for a client placement
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. as a SkillStorm W2 employee (C2C arrangements are not available)

Once you're deployed, you'll:

• Build and improve applications using your client's languages, frameworks, and tools
• Write clean, efficient, well-organized code that meets professional standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, and provide technical support
• Take part in code reviews, both giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Work with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical specifications
• Support testing and production deployments, and keep technical documentation current
• Stay sharp on industry tools and techniques through ongoing training
