Total Talent Solutions Now hiring for a Wiring Technician Location: Jacksonville, FL Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Looking for Wiring Technician jobs in Jacksonville where your technical skills keep equipment operating at its best? Join a growing team supporting the railroad signaling industry. This hands-on role is responsible for assembling, installing, and wiring signal equipment and electrical components while following railroad signal design blueprints and established safety standards. Job Duties Assemble, install, and wire railroad signaling equipment and related components. Read and interpret railroad signal design blueprints and schematics. Build and wire signal equipment enclosures, wayside signals, switch machines, meter services, and power distribution cases. Perform layout work, backboard installation, gates, lights, meter poles, and tagging. Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and operational standards. Qualifications Associate degree in Electronics or a Technical field preferred. 1-2 years of electronics experience required. Knowledge of railroad signal materials, equipment, and systems preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong reading, writing, and communication skills. Valid driver's license required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Working Conditions Work is performed inside a construction and wiring facility with limited climate control. Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and use of hand tools.
