Job Duties Create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings. Develop drawings for fabricated parts, equipment layouts, manufacturing components, and architectural applications. Convert sketches, concepts, and specifications into accurate technical drawings. Modify and revise existing drawings to meet project requirements. Customize AutoCAD software through scripting, programming, or coding functions. Create CNC machine programs from CAD drawings and design files. Verify drawing accuracy and ensure compliance with project specifications. Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to support manufacturing and design objectives. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or certification in AutoCAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Experience Requirements Minimum of 1 year of AutoCAD programming or CAD drafting experience required. Experience creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings from concept sketches and specifications. Ability to independently revise and update existing designs. Experience converting CAD drawings into CNC machine programs. Knowledge of AutoCAD customization, scripting, or coding preferred. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Stable work history with demonstrated job tenure. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods. Ability to review detailed technical drawings and specifications. Frequent use of computers, drafting software, and office equipment. Strong visual attention to detail and accuracy.
