Job Duties Perform precision inspections on medical device components and finished products. Verify dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, comparators, and vision systems. Inspect products for cosmetic and dimensional defects to ensure compliance with specifications. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Identify nonconforming products and report quality concerns. Follow company quality procedures, work instructions, and safety standards. Use company-provided inspection tools and equipment to support production quality objectives. Support quality initiatives and special inspection projects as assigned. Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred. Quality, manufacturing, or technical training preferred. ISO certification or quality-related certifications are a plus. Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and inspection documentation. Experience Requirements Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment required. Experience inspecting medical devices or precision components preferred. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, comparators, and vision systems. Strong understanding of dimensional and cosmetic inspection requirements. Knowledge of ISO standards and quality systems preferred. Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift. Capable of performing repetitive inspections with a high degree of accuracy. Must be able to visually inspect products for defects and quality issues. Required to wear safety glasses while on the manufacturing floor.
