Utilities Division has an opening for an Equipment Operator in their Transportation Services Department.

Job Description:

Provides transportation of materials within and outside the plant site by operating tractor trailers, dumpster trucks, and G.R.D. dumpster trucks. Utilizes the computer dispatch system when relieving dispatchers.

Qualifications:

• Must have current Class A CDL. (Hazard Materials Certification preferred).
• Must be able to obtain an Eastman DOT Medical Examiner Certification.
• Must be familiar with basic computer functions such as email & data entry using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Word.
• Must be able to perform all safety procedures and wear appropriate company provided personal protective equipment as needed/required.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Must have a strong work ethic, demonstrating both initiative& professional attitude.
• Must be able to perform the essential elements of the positions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Additional Qualifications:

• WorkKeys assessmentpreferredat time of hire.
• Must achieveEastman's required score levels on the WorkKeys assessments to be considered for the OAP (Operator Apprentice Program) or theMAP (Maintenance Apprentice Program).

Educational / Additional Requirements:
