Multicraft Maintenance Assistant - 2nd Shift

2nd Shift Schedule - 3:00pm - 1:00am Monday - Thursday

*must be willing and able to train on day shift

A Day In The Life

Maintenance Assistant is an entry level position that is available to the right candidate offering growth into the maintenance career field.

Will work under the direction of the maintenance supervisor and may perform activities such as cleaning, lubricating, or performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. They will also assist with repairing or replacing faulty parts, such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing and other manufacturing-related components while ensuring that safety standards are met. The primary goal of a Maintenance Assistant is to support the maintenance team in keeping the facility running efficiently and effectively.



  • Support and maintain manufacturing/production machinery
  • Perform light mechanical repairs.
  • Inspect and repair defective equipment.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance activities on property and equipment
  • Install and replace various components
  • Prepare tools and parts for targeted projects
  • Assist with inventory control
  • Maintain shop organization & cleanliness
  • Stock room parts management, inventory, and parts ordering
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred but not required



  • Associates degree in Maintenance Technology or Electronic Technology
  • Basic knowledge of PLC and programming skills


Physical Requirements



  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. (team lift)
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work in a hot humid environment
