Far too many developmentally disabled individuals are held back by the lack of a solid support system, and as a DSP, you can change that. We are looking for DSPs to join our growing team at The Center for Family Support (CFS) has been providing services to individuals with intellectual disabilities in New Jersey for over twenty years. We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to work within the 5 boroughs of New York City. Positions are available in our Residential and Community programs. The ideal job candidate will be highly dependable and have a passion for helping those with physical and/or intellectual disabilities live a more fulfilled and rewarding life. The Center for Family Support (CFS) mission is to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental and related disabilities. We are the first agency in New York to achieve the Council on Quality and Leadership Certification (CQL). By achieving this certification, it shows our commitment and dedication to creating services that enhance and improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional, no two days are totally alike. But each day is sure to include the following:
Requirements and Qualifications:
