This role is part of Enterprise Engineering (EE), where we provide technical standards, tools, processes, training, and subject matter expertise for product engineering and manufacturing. EE allows all Blue Origin business units to benefit from commonly used capabilities, hardware, and software and assists business units in identifying, selecting, and training engineers from both inside and outside the organization.

As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, will play a vital role in managing Blue Origin's requirements software JAMA Connect, and you will be a leading expert in the tool, providing training to users, offering technical support, carrying out database maintenance, and implementing efficient processes to maximize the tool's capabilities. Your contributions will directly influence the future of space exploration.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide system and application administration of Jama, such as setting item types, fields, link types, relationship models, and setting and managing user permissions.
  • Provide Jama application interface user support and issue resolution.
  • Support Jama application updates and upgrades.
  • Develop and conduct Jama user training based on the Blue Origin systems engineering approach.
  • Collaborating with the Jama Support team.
  • Support configuration and data management (CDM) activities for JAMA.
  • Support data quality and completeness checks for JAMA reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ yrs. experience as an administrator or power user of Jama Connect.
  • User training, training and workflow development, or helpdesk experience.
  • Experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations.
  • Experience analyzing business requirements for system interface implementation.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience querying enterprise-size databases with languages such as SQL, SPARQL.
  • Experience with MySQL or MSSQL database deployment and administration.
  • Automate generation of design requirement documentation and reports from Jama.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian toolsets, such as Confluence and JIRA.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation Range for:

CA applicants is $104,490.00-$146,286.00;CO applicants is $95,782.50-$134,095.50;WA applicants is $104,490.00-$146,286.00
