Who we look for:

*Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent engineering experience.

*Clear understanding and application of methodologies associated with project planning.

*Experience working with collaborative cross-functional teams.

*Effective communication through written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills.

*Strong analytical abilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

*Knowledge and experience with quality systems, statistical process control, process capability, and lean manufacturing tools.

*Familiarity with 2D & 3D modeling, preferably in AutoCad and/or Inventor.

What you'll get to do:

*Utilize effective lean process design techniques to optimize the performance of our manufacturing system.

*Plan, organize, and lead the technical aspects of large-scale assignments.

*Create training tools, documents, and standard operating procedures for production processes.

*Identify causes of process variation using the scientific method.

*Recommend and drive corrective action through root cause identification and structured problem solving.

*Ensure built-in quality by using DMAIC tools such as process mapping, process capability, C&E Matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, and Control Plans.

*Accurately assess ergonomic conditions within the manufacturing environment and provide practical solutions to eliminate ergonomic risk.

*Exhibit persuasiveness to sell continuous improvement ideas to value stream management and delivery partners.
