Your Role With Us:The Physical Security Systems Technician will operate with a comprehensive understanding of security systems and is tasked with system installations, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance responsibilities. This role ensures seamless operation of security equipment, contributes to Salem Health's security, and plays a crucial role in assisting and mentoring apprentices.Core Functions:1. Intermediate System Oversight:Monitor and maintain security system devices to ensure accurate reporting.Support the commissioning of new setups while adhering to Salem Health's standards.Assist in adapting information systems based on user needs and feedback.Collaborate with the Technician Lead to reinforce training for apprentices.2. Hands-On System Management:Play an active role in maintaining and monitoring systems like:Totguard infant abduction systemMilestone camera surveillance systemLenel access control systemGenetec LPR systemProvide support during software upgrades and roll-outs.3. Technical Proficiency:Handle installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of essential components like door access readers and surveillance cameras.Assist with communication wiring tasks, ensuring efficiency and organization.4. Record-Keeping:Assist in maintaining logs of activities.Update device data as and when required.Record keeping of Preventative Maintenance and Corrective MaintenanceProcess request for security systems. Capable of redacting case reports to protect PHI.5.
