The Nursing Professional Development Specialist is committed to ensuring education services and resource support to patient care leadership, clinical staff, and patients. This is accomplished through a variety of services; from staff development and continuing education for employees, to a leadership role in committee/project work. The position requires an independent, critical thinking, self-motivated individual who demonstrates effective decision-making and problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to take a leadership role in facilitating organizational change through partnerships with staff and managers.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Relevant clinical experience
  • Experience in teaching adult learners and development of learning materials.
  • State of WI RN licensure or is eligible for State of WI licensure.
  • Proficiency in computer applications required for the role.
  • Proficiency in Epic documentation
