Aclara Technologies, LLC has an opening for a Senior System Integration Test Engineer out of Solon, Ohio.Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle

A Day In The Life

  • Design and execute system software integration test cases to verify system requirements.
  • Design software application, perform integration, functional, performance and stress tests for hardware and software.
  • Create test plans. Author internal test reports and documents.
  • Design, deploy and configure software applications/test stands consisting of sensors and cloud-based services.
  • Generate and monitor metric to measure engineering test process. Create detailed test cases for Automation engineers, verify output.
  • Coordinate test activities with multiple teams.
  • Diagnose, produce and troubleshoot issues.
  • Improve and maintain software/methods, processes, procedures and standards.
  • May work from home up to 2 days per week.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field and at least 5 years of progressive experience as a system integration test engineer or a similar role.
  • At least 5 years of experience designing and executing system software integration test cases to verify system requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience designing, deploying and configuring software applications/test stands consisting of hardware and cloud-based services
  • At least 5 years of experience generating and monitoring metrics to measure the effectiveness of the engineering test process
  • At least 5 years of experience coordinating test activities with project engineers, including estimations and tracking to a schedule
  • At least 3 years of experience with white box testing hardware deliverables
  • At least 3 years of experience with testing energized equipment in a laboratory setting
