Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Become an integral part of clients' business success by providing expert guidance on industry trends, identifying potential issues, and offering proactive solutions
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and become their go-to expert
  • Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, alternatives, etc.
  • Understand the client's organization, processes, culture, and objectives to provide insightful advice and create lasting value
  • Oversee client deliverables such as financial statements, tax returns, and work papers
  • Be part of a dynamic team that ensures each project meets our high standards of quality, timeliness, and budget.
  • Work closely with senior management to attract new clients, participate in client meetings, pitch proposals, and help grow the firm's presence in the market
  • Actively participate in activities that drive new business and create cross-selling opportunities
  • Take ownership of the engagement budget, ensuring cost-efficiency and resource allocation to maximize value for the client and the firm
  • Maintain productivity while meeting or exceeding established charge hour goals, ensuring high performance and client satisfaction
  • Foster an environment of continuous learning by mentoring junior team members and providing regular feedback, encouraging professional development, and helping staff achieve their potential

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 6 years of experience in public accounting or related field
  • 3 years supervisory experience
  • Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
  • Ability to independently manage all aspects of client engagements from start to finish, ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
  • Proficient use of applicable technology to streamline work processes and enhance client service

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $115,000- $170,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
