CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Reconnaissance (RECON) Group Supervisor - Incident Command System (ICS)

Responsibilities:



  • Shall perform roles and responsibilities as a member of an incident management team in support of MCD, and Reconnaissance and Surveillance (R&S), training and evaluations. The Defense Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Force (DCRF) Observer Controller/Trainer (OC/T) and Command and Control CBRN Response Element (C2CRE) OC/T Team(s) requires exercise support service CBRN RECON Group Supervisor ICS to enable DCRF and C2CRE A&B Technical Support Forces (TSF) training and evaluation mission capability within the team. The CBRN RECON Group Supervisor ICS shall integrate TSF units into the ICS and first responders on scene during training and evaluation events.
  • Perform as necessary to assist military and government service personnel in the preparation, and execution of training and exercise events.


Qualifications:



  • A strong understanding of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats, as well as knowledge of appropriate response protocols and equipment.
  • Experience in delivering training and instructions, especially to military and government personnel.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to analyze training exercises, identifying areas for improvement, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Able to be adaptable and possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Being able to manage timelines, resources, and coordinate different aspects of training and evaluation events.
  • Shall have operational knowledge and use of the ICS, knowledge of 29 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) 1910.120 paragraph Q and other current OSHA standards for industry.

These locations include but are not limited to military installations such as: Fort Hood, Fort Bragg, Fort Riley, Fort Stewart, Fort Campbell, Houston, Philadelphia, Nellis AFB, Fort Polk, Fort Benning, Fort Stewart, Camp Atterbury, Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC), Maneuver Support Center of Excellence (MSCoE) at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Fort Custer, State Fire Colleges, local fire departments, Las Vegas, Pascagoula, Seattle, Birmingham, Charleston, Little Rock, or other locations selected for training.
