JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Pediatric Clinical Research Office at the Penn State College of Medicine, Hershey, PA, is hiring a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator. The position supports clinical research within the Department of Pediatrics and its twenty divisions.

The main responsibilities of this position are to provide operational oversight of several research projects within the department including several NIH funded studies, clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies. This position will also take part in data collection, data entry into appropriate databases, organizing project materials and supporting recruitment and enrollment of research studies. Applicants will be expected to participate in data collection for high- quality research with children The ideal candidate will have a strong background in REDCap data entry and experience working with an Institutional Review Board (IRB). It is important that the candidate have experience working with a team and multiple Principal Investigators projects. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to multi-task. A background in working with children and families is preferred.

This position will be filled at an Intermediate or Advanced Professional depending on the candidate's education and experience. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional education and/or experience required for higher level positions.

This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, withpossibility of refunding.

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$51,000.00 - $81,500.00
