Posting Summary
Generalist/Hospitalist OB/ GYN who diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders of the female pelvis. Also, treats women during prenatal, in labor, and postnatal periods. Performs all aspects of generalist OB/ GYN practice including cesarean delivery, hysterectomy, and all standard outpatient procedures. Plans and participates in medical care to both inpatients and outpatients seen in University Hospital and our Ambulatory Practice. If Hospitalist, will provide in-house obstetrical physician coverage, and provide clinical supervision/oversight for the patients on the Labor floor. He/she will cover inpatients and triage on the labor and delivery floor in University Hospital and other sites collaborating with Rutgers NJMS, as well as ED coverage

Actively leads and participates in the education of medical students, housestaff and other ancillary personnel. Participates in postgraduate education on a state and national level.

Our mission includes teaching Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health to medical students, residents, physicians. Our role is to advance knowledge in the field of clinical medicine as well as the basic science of pregnancy and reproduction through research. We provide clinical care to our local community and consultative care in our sub specialties to the State. We also provide leadership in our field, both locally and nationally.
