The Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking Lecturers for the 2024-2025 Academic Year to teach various undergraduate courses within the discipline. The Lecturer will present course materials during the assigned courses times, hold office hours, help proctor, grade exams and assignments, develop homework/exam questions and coordinate any other requirements related to the instruction of the course. Additional duties may include assisting students with laboratory activities and delivering prelab lectures.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
Requires a master's degree in a microbiology/biochemistry or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience teaching in the interested course. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated teaching experience and effectiveness.

The School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, located on the George H. Cook Campus, is one of the largest schools of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey.
