Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Data Collector: Assessor will be expected to drive to assigned classrooms to administer tests or classroom observations. Assessments will be conducted at the child's schools/centers.
Among the key duties of this position are:
- Scheduling appointments with schools, administering the assessments, reporting the number of completed assessments on a weekly basis to the Project Coordinator, and returning completed assessments to NIEER.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- High School diploma or equivalent, and/or up to 4 years of relevant office, clerical, bookkeeping, library assistant or related experience depending on the duties to be performed.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be
substituted for the experience requirement.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Graduate students, applicants with a BA, or current upperclassman undergraduate students with a focus on child development, early childhood, psychology or related field, withholding an excellent academic record (GPA of 3.0 or better).
- Knowledge about child development and developmentally appropriate early childhood teaching practices is preferred (e.g. Teacher).
- Experience in classroom settings and/or working with children
- Ability to write, speak, and read Spanish.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
