JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Applications are invited for an Assistant Research Professor position in the Security of Software (SOS) Lab at Penn State (http://www.cse.psu.edu/~gxt29/sos/).The SOS Lab focuses on methodologies that help create secure software systems.We are seeking a highly qualified individual to work in the area of software security, including binary code analysis and hardening as well as compiler-based software security.Applicants should possess a doctoral degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and have a strong background in computer security, programming languages, or formal methods. The candidate must have an excellent track record of original research and the ability to work as part of a team.
