JOB SUMMARY:Under general supervision, performs duties to ensure the safety and security of University students, patients, visitors and employees; applies crime risk and safety hazard prevention techniques, methods, practices, and enforces University laws and regulations; exercises the power of arrest as an armed Public Safety Department employee. This position provides the opportunity to administer public safety to our diverse Saint Louis University community using state of the art technology - computer aided record keeping for report writing, card issued building access, and high-tech video monitoring systems.
