Responsibilities

A typical day involves preparing and reviewing mechanical engineering products like calculations, drawings, and specifications, while ensuring quality and compliance. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers in areas such as fluid mechanics and HVAC, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project execution and business development.

    Engineering Product Development & Review: Prepare and support mechanical engineering products, including calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Mentorship & Technical Growth: Provide training and guidance to develop expertise in key mechanical engineering areas like fluid mechanics, HVAC, and heat exchangers
  • Expert Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct subject matter expert reviews to ensure engineering product excellence
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Partner with diverse engineering groups to deliver customer-focused projects and drive business growth
  • On-Site Problem Solving: Participate in site walkdowns to identify practical, cost-effective design solutions
  • Cross-Disciplinary Innovation: Collaborate across multi-disciplined teams to tackle complex projects and deliver forward-thinking solutions


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the mechanical engineering in the field
  • Extensive expertise with pumps, valves, fans, heat exchangers, and/or HVAC
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, but typically ranging from 1-5 days

Pay Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
