Director, Facility Operations

The Facility Director of Operations is responsible for overall daily operations at the facility, achieving results in alignment with organizational goals and management of financial resources to meet and exceed budget expectations. The incumbent will ensure operational effectiveness, standardization, and optimization by working with leaders across the multi-specialty disciplines. The incumbent analyzes staffing models, patient care models, and workflows for optimal patient experience.

Key Accountabilities:

• Operationalizes programs to facilitate growth in volume/visits at the facility level. Management of financial resources to meet or exceed budget expectations.
• Operational Oversight of facility. Manages productivity/staffing levels to best practice benchmarks for assigned departments. Develops performance improvement measures and continually assesses performance against measures.
• Effectively monitors service processes that are patient and family focused, ensures patient satisfaction scores are meeting facility and assigned departments' goals. Ensures the strategic, operational, and programmatic plans support the mission, vision, values and service orientation of Norton Healthcare. Overall administrative and clinical direction and management of departments by facilitating the development and delivery of quality services.
• Ensures evidenced based key processes are followed to ensure best possible patient outcomes. Actively monitors for compliance with state, federal and DNV requirements. Plans well and prepares in advance for projects and multiple possible outcomes.
• Conveys a clear vision of the facility's direction, challenges and opportunities for staff. Establishes meaningful and measurable performance expectations for staff. Manages complex hospital based physician relationships and contracts. Assures positive working relationships exist throughout the campus and utilizes system resources to monitor as such. Works harmoniously with and effectively supervises personnel under their direction.

Required:

• Three years leadership experience in operations in a healthcare setting
• Bachelor's Degree
