Endeavor Health is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterology Physician to join our team of 14 Physicians and 3 Nurse Practitioners as part of the Chicagoland Children's Health Alliance (CCHA).

CCHA is a partnership between the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital, Advocate Children's Hospital, and Endeavor Health. This partnership enables the strategic investment in the programs and services of Pediatric GI to ensure our patients receive the most advanced, individualized treatments available.

The selected applicant will have a unique and exciting opportunity to have direct input into the development of a regional referral center and the development of a nationally recognized Pediatric Gastroenterology Program. The selected candidate will be a collaborative partner within a team of outstanding multidisciplinary professionals while enjoying full support from nearly 120 pediatric and surgical subspecialists. Advocate Children's Hospital is the largest network provider of pediatric services in Illinois and among the top 10 in the nation.

The primary site of in-patient clinical service will be Advocate Children's Hospital-Park Ridge, a 138-bed pediatric hospital with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Medical/Surgical Unit, and a Pediatric Emergency Department.

Our combined CCHA Pediatric Gastroenterology Program hosts several comprehensive programs that span across all three institutions including a comprehensive IBD program with transition clinic that is currently caring for over 500 active IBD patients. An EOE programs with active clinical and pharmaceutical trials. A pediatric liver disease and liver transplant program with two board certified Pediatric Transplant Hepatologists and as well as an advanced therapeutic endoscopy program offering dedicated pediatric double balloon enteroscopy.

Clinical Position Details:

  • Strong mentorship & support within the group
  • No scheduled clinic time while on service
  • A typical weekly clinic schedule includes three full days of clinic, one procedure day, and one administration day.
  • As part of our program, we have a dedicated Friday morning Peds GI Division meetings and sign-out to review cases and talk about program or research developments.
  • Our ideal candidate is excited to help grow a GI division, works well with others and is constantly open to learning.
